ZilSoft is the first Windows offline commercial prescription software of BD since 2016 by ZilSoft Software Lab (ZSL). It was initially developed by Dr. Tanzil Islam, a doctor-programmer from Bangladesh. A cloud based (SaaS) online subscription has been available since 2023. ZilSoft has more than 29,350+ drug database entries, which contain Bangladeshi drugs with detailed literature such as indications, contraindications, and side effects. By 2026, ZilSoft has more than 11,000+ registered customers, including Government Medical Colleges, hospitals, specialists from all branches, as well as BMDC registered MBBS & BDS doctors. It is one of the most widely used prescription software in Bangladesh and has received positive reviews and feedback from doctors on social media. Most recent version is v 7.2 (11th edition) with drug updates upto June 2026.
